01 Verify rough-in records and access
Make sure final devices match the hidden routes already installed.
- Compare as-built rough-in photos with fixture, device and equipment positions.
- Check access panels, valves, filters, pumps, drivers and controls.
- Confirm wall and ceiling finishes can accept final devices without cutting rework.
Hold point: Final installation should not start until access and rough-in positions are verified.

02 Install fixtures, devices, AC and ventilation terminals
Connect user-facing equipment without damaging finished surfaces.
- Install sanitary ware, faucets, outlets, switches, lights and equipment.
- Mount AC indoor units, ventilation grilles, diffusers and controls.
- Label isolators, valves, pumps, drivers and control circuits.
Hold point: Commissioning should not begin until devices are installed, labelled and accessible.

03 Pre-test systems and clean service points
Hand commissioning a system that is ready to test, not a list of unfinished works.
- Run basic power, polarity, flow, drainage and condensate checks.
- Clean filters, strainers, aerators and grilles before functional testing.
- Prepare equipment data and serial numbers for handover records.
Hold point: Formal commissioning should wait until pre-test failures and missing labels are closed.
