01 Collect as-built and maintenance records
Give the operator enough information to maintain the building without destructive investigation.
- Compile as-built drawings, hidden work photos, equipment data and warranties.
- Create operations and maintenance sheets for each serviceable system.
- Confirm access panels, valves, filters and isolators are labelled.
Punto de control: Training and final acceptance should not start until the record pack is complete enough to operate the building.

02 Train owner, operator and maintenance team
Make sure people can use the installed systems correctly.
- Walk through pumps, filters, AC, ventilation, controls, drainage and shutoffs.
- Show routine cleaning, alarms, seasonal checks and emergency isolation.
- Record attendance and remaining questions.
Punto de control: Final sign-off should not happen until system training and access demonstration are recorded.

03 Close defects and transfer responsibility
Separate accepted works, open defects and warranty obligations.
- Inspect remaining punch items with photos and responsible parties.
- Agree defect deadlines, retention rules and warranty response route.
- Issue final handover package with version-controlled records.
Punto de control: Project close-out should not be accepted until open defects and warranty responsibilities are explicitly documented.
